I see now that I should have expected something like this.
I mean, what else would a little boy bring to Show-and-Tell for the letter "C"?
I was expecting the cars, cards, and wooden coyote that the others brought.
But the crickets?
Now I know, next year, I need to expect a parent to walk in in the afternoon carrying an insect case filled with about 20 crickets.
Now I know.

Oh, how cute!
ReplyDeleteSomething similar happened at our church when the children were asked to bring a friend to church with them the next time. The director's were, of course, expecting other children...but guess who thought to bring animals...☺!

How funny! I can imagine it was quite a surprise! My sister used to be a teacher and she would come home with stories often. I also have a sister who babysits often and she always comes home with stories. Children are such fun!
ReplyDeleteoh my!
ReplyDeleteI can't really say anything.
I was once the kid who brought animals to class also. ;o)
